Common questions

Do we need a server or a VPN?

No. Sibe runs in the cloud, so there is no server to buy or maintain and no VPN to set up. Engineers work in SolidWorks through the add-in, and everyone else opens files in a browser.

What gets installed on an engineer’s machine?

[ANSWER PENDING – waiting for Ken to confirm the SolidWorks version support and install size/time claims. Do not publish.]

How fast can we get set up?

Most teams are working in under 20 minutes: install the add-in, import an assembly, and invite your team. If you want help with your setup, book a free 20-minute demo with Ken.

Can reviewers open a file without a SolidWorks license?

Yes. Reviewers open the exact version in any browser, no SolidWorks license needed. They can view, measure and mark up the model, and you can share a single model through a free Visitor Link.
