TO BE WRITTEN

More SolidWorks time. Less File management & Coordination

In Sibe, a design review is a single secure link. The model opens instantly in the browser, reviewers comment directly on the geometry, and all feedback lands in one place, pinned to the exact version being reviewed. No SolidWorks license required to review or comment on the design. Sibe PDM comes with unlimited browser based Solidworks design visitors.

Check in from SolidWorks, Review in The Browser

Sibe's native SolidWorks add-in keeps engineers in the environment they already work in. Check in the design when it's ready, and Sibe PDM handles the rest:

A live interactive SolidWorks 3D model and drawing opens instantly in any browser.

Reviewers rotate, pan, zoom, and inspect geometry without any install or account.

Collaborators can comment and markup directly to specific areas of the SolidWorks model.

All feedback is waiting inside Sibe PDM when the engineer picks the design back up.

No exports, no uploads to a third-party viewer, no version drift.

Feedback that actually makes sense in context

Vague feedback wastes design time. Comments left in Sibe are anchored to the SolidWorks model and the specific version being reviewed.

Reviewers point to the exact face, edge, or area they are commenting on.

Engineers open the review and see immediately what needs to change and where.

Resolved comments stay visible so the history of decisions doesn't disappear.

Fewer revision cycles. Less time re-explaining what the feedback meant.

The right version, every time

Reviews in Sibe are always tied to a specific version in the vault, so every stakeholder is looking at exactly what the engineer intended them to see.

Every review points at a version Sibe is tracking.

Step back through previous versions to see what changed between rounds of feedback.

Once the design is ready, move it through Sibe's approval workflow and lock the released revision.

What went to manufacturing is always traceable. What's under review right now is always unambiguous.

View Without SolidWorks Licence

Internal stakeholders, managers, customers, and suppliers join reviews from the same secure browser link.

  • No SolidWorks licence required to view SolidWorks Files.
  • No account creation, no VPN, no IT setup to view SolidWorks Designs.
  • Download permissions are controlled per link, so IP stays protected.
  • Reviews move faster when the people who need to sign off aren't blocked by access friction.

Async and live — same link, same model

Whether the review happens over a call or across time zones, Sibe keeps everyone looking at the same thing.

  • Share the link ahead of a meeting so reviewers arrive prepared.
  • Use the same link on a call so the team is viewing the same SolidWorks Version.
  • Review outcomes are part of the design record, not a separate document to maintain.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. Sibe connects to your existing SolidWorks projects through a native add-in. There is no migration, no file conversion, and no rebuild of your folder structure required. You connect your files and the revision workflow is live the same day.

No. Anyone you share a link with opens the full 3D model in any browser, no SolidWorks installation, no licence. Paid collaborator seats unlock commenting and mark-ups directly on the design for those who need to leave structured feedback.

Released files are automatically locked in Sibe. They can be viewed and referenced by anyone with access, but they cannot be edited or overwritten. Any changes require a new revision cycle with its own review and approval.

Yes. External partners join the review through a secure browser link, no account, no VPN, no SolidWorks licence. Web viewing is unlimited and free for as many partners as your project needs. Add a paid collaborator seat for partners who need to comment or add mark-ups. You control which files each partner sees, and whether they can download.

Sibe uses check-out / check-in directly from the SolidWorks add-in. When a file is checked out by one engineer, it is locked for editing by others. Everyone else can still view the latest checked-in version in read-only mode.

Yes. Sibe PDM maintains a log of every version, every state change, every reviewer comment, and every approval decision, all attached to the file itself. You can trace any released revision back to who requested it, who approved it, and what changed.

Sibe uses three clear states: In Progress, Pending Approval, and Released. Engineers iterate freely while a file is In Progress. When it's ready, they submit it for approval, the file moves to Pending Approval and the owner reviews it. Once approved, the file is Released, locked, and assigned the next revision level (A, B, C…).

Yes. Only owners can approve a file and move it to Released. Members and external reviewers can comment, mark up, and flag feedback, but the final release decision stays with the owners you designate.

No. Sibe runs entirely on Google Cloud. There are no servers to set up or maintain, no VPN required for remote access, and no IT project to get started. Your approval workflow is live in 30 minutes.
