Pricing questions, answered
Who needs an Editor seat?
Anyone who checks files in and out in SolidWorks. Everyone else, production, purchasing, quality, clients, works in the browser on a Contributor ($15) or Viewer ($5) seat, or through a free Visitor Link. Most teams end up with more browser seats than Editor seats.
What's the difference between a Viewer seat and a Visitor Link?
A Viewer is a named teammate with a private login who can browse your workspace, read-only. A Visitor Link is a free public link to one model, latest version only, no account needed, and you can switch it off at any time. Viewer seats for your team, Visitor Links for one-off sharing.
How does the free trial work?
14 days, free, no credit card. Install the add-in, import an assembly, and you're working in under 20 minutes. At the end you pick a plan, nothing is charged automatically.
Can I change plans or seats later?
Yes. Move between Core and Scale, switch between monthly and annual billing, and add or remove seats as your team changes. Your files, version history, and links stay exactly as they are.
Where are my files stored, and can I get them out?
In Sibe's cloud, encrypted in transit and at rest, with every version kept. You can download your files at any time. Full detail is on the security page.
